Cooking light and walking - a recipe for controlling how old you look and feel.

istock_000007368188xsmall “Seventy percent of premature aging is caused by the choices we make, says Michael F. Roizen, M.D., and John La Puma, M.D. ”By making some easy choices, such as eating well, you can control your genes rather than being controlled by them and even slow down or reverse aging,” Roizen explains. Check out the full story at bnet.com from a March-April 2004 article in American Fitness.

Now the cooking light part. Not only do you need to cook healthy but you also need to feed your body the protein and flavor that cures the crave to over eat.

    How about these stats:

    151 calories
    2g fat
    82mg sodium
    6g carbohydrate
    3g dietary fiber
    2g sugar
    28g protien

dsc_3590Who wouldn’t want to cook this the night before a race or a long walk? So scoot over to ExHotGirl and check out the Rolled Chicken and Asparagus. Food for the body and any jones-ing you might have for some real power food - sweet potatoes, chicken and asparagus.

Now that you’re fueled up. How about creating an individual, step by step recipe for getting in shape and controlling weight? Everyone knows their own body, what really works - go out and implement a program for your body. Food and fitness for you.

I should “TM” that - food and fitness for you. Probably already been done.

Fabulous meal! The 151 calories is just for the chicken and asparagus, and then adding the sweet potato gets another 100 calories or so, and a TON of great vitamins, and a whopping 541mg of potassium and 130% of your daily Vitamin B! :)

Thanks again for the linkback! :)~
