I walk all year long. Love the warm months and just get it done in the cold ones.
Sounds nuts but it relieves stress and I get some good daily fresh(air, that is) which is great after a long day working inside.
The problems are all the layers of clothing, cold air and the tightness associated with winter workouts. So I’ve begun to really focusing on warming-up (stretching), staying warm & loose during walking and the cool down process after the workout.
Number One Goal – Improving my warm-up and cool down routine in 2009. This is code for stretching. The thing that most of us hate but need the most.
