Do they work? Have they worked for you? Do they work short term and long term?
Let me know? Please, I would love to hear your stories.
I have a diet plan. It’s called throw away your scale and walk five or six days a week for two years.
Start small and increase your walking distance gradually but walk quickly. Don’t weigh yourself at the end of the first year. In the second year, cut out 500 calories per day and keep walking for one more year. Try to get to the point where you’re walking 45-60 minutes per walk. Now at the end of the second year, weigh yourself. I bet you have lost weight. Try it.
The weight will stay off because you’ve made a lasting change. You won’t be fixated on your scale. Constantly weighing yourself is a losing battle. Diets and habitual weighing oneself usually ends in disappointment. It’s your life, go ahead and start.
But if you must diet, check this out ABC program rating diets.
