Where did you put that list of New Year resolutions? Is it digital or scratched on a cocktail napkin in a moment of lovable optimism?
We are well into 2009 and I'm checking on those resolutions. Don't hate me or kill the messenger because 'resolution' should be a four letter word, none the less, FoxNews has "5 Ways to Slim Down in 2009" by Marrecca Fiore.
"You’re two months into the New Year and you still haven’t started that resolution to eat healthy, exercise more and lose weight.
It’s not too late, according to Dr. Vonda Wright, an orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine...

A supernova is defined at wikipedia as a stellar explosion. Jenn's Oatmeal Supernova is exactly that, an explosion of breakfast goodness. Breakfast is the most important meal of day especially if you're trying to control your weight.
I'm one of those strange people that can eat the same thing over and over again and still be happy. For breakfast, I eat blueberry whole grain waffles with peanut butter and honey or regular Quaker Oats oatmeal but no way instant oatmeal holds a candle to Jenn's recipe. Jenn's Oatmeal Supernova, here are the ingredients, please head over to her site for the cooking...
I didn't finish my 25 random posts but I will do 25 random miles this weekend. Today was an 11.8 mile day, so I'll have a little longer walk tomorrow to get my 25 miles.
Sorry for my crazy idea of doing 25 random posts about the "Facebook 25 Random Thing" phenomenon. I wasn't sure if it was funny or annoying, so I stopped.
Wish me luck tomorrow with my 13.2 miles. I hope the weather holds up here in DC.

PS - Just an update, I'm raising money for the Breast Cancer 3-day ZumeWalk DC Team; I'm raising a dollar per mile and so far I've logged 37.37...
The weather is awesome in Tampa and some of the moms and kids are taking full advantage by walking together. "Mothers Now Can Rock And Stroll Saturdays" by PAUL CATALA writing for The Tampa Tribune.
"Since June 2007, FishHawk Ranch mothers and their young children have spent time three times a week working out with each other. Well, the mothers work out; their kids just go along for the ride. Stroller Strides Tampa is an outdoor, exercise training program that allows moms to take their infants, toddlers and young children with them during workouts with strollers and the instructor."

My post, "Dr. Oz's Health Checklist," I think has rubbed the people at Hospital Companions the wrong way. Sorry, this was not my intention. I think if you look closely at my post, you'll see positive words and a desire to connect people to information. To make sure, I went to their site and did some research to better educate myself on who they are and what they do. Here's the skinny:
Hospital Companions aids patients and their families during a hospital stay by providing personal, non-medical care to the patient and support to their family.
To ensure our families stay well-informed, we have...
Over at "Back in Skinny Jeans" Stephanie gives a real life success story on losing and keeping off 25 pounds.
"I started my 25lb weight loss journey back in June of 2005 and reached my goal in January of 2008, and have kept it all off ever since."
Here's just a few, link over for the rest:
1. I eliminated consuming any artificial sweeteners like aspartame and Splenda which I was mostly consuming through diet sodas like Diet Coke, Pepsi, and Dr. Pepper, and in my coffee and tea drinks at Starbucks. When I did that 10lbs just fell off. My theory, and again I am no medical pro, is related...
