Rene Lynch’s article at the LA Times
brings a back office view of Bob and the emotional roller coaster he’s run in the last few shows:

“This week? In Part 1 of a two-part episode, Bob watched two of his teammates — Sione and Filipe — sent over to the blue team.

So? This happens each season, right? Alliances shift. Contestants come and go. So why was this different? Here’s the back story:

Bob, Sione and Filipe formed a uniquely strong bond. In fact, it was a bond that Filipe said he felt even before arriving at the ranch. During press interviews at the beginning of the new season, Filipe said he recalled being a home, unhappy at being morbidly obese, watching “The Biggest Loser,” and somehow having a sixth sense that Bob would be the key to changing his life forever.”

Personal connections can make all the difference in training success especially when working with a trainer. If you have the opportunity to work with a personal, carefully interview and take a test driver before deciding on the final winner. Your personal trainer’s viewpoints, as exhibited by Sione on the ‘Biggest Loser’ during the 24 bike competition, will become your own over time and you want to make sure that you have a “feeling” about this person, that will later mesh with who you are in life and working out.
