Math makes my head hurt.

math and the brainNot really but for most of us “regular” people this kind of math is beyond our grasp.

“A walk is a sequence of graph vertices and graph edges such that the graph vertices andgraph edges are adjacent.

A closed walk is therefore equivalent to a graph cycle, but with the graph vertices along the walk enumerated as well as the graph edges.”

Created, developed and nurtured by Eric Weinstein at Wolfram Research and reference D.B. West, Introduction to Graph Theory, 2nd ed..

I know Zume is part of a brilliant group maybe someone could explain this for us “regular” people?

What does this have to do with walking – everything. Sorry, this is very cheeky but it is so important to our future. Physical activity is the stimulus improving brain function.

“Emerging new research suggests physical exercise may boost brain function, improve mood, and otherwise increase learning, according to findings presented yesterday at a meeting of neuroscientists and educators. While it is too soon to conclude that children who do not exercise fare worse in school, the research raises questions about the recent national trend toward cutting physical education programs, some scientists and educators said.”

MikeZ – “Exercise = Circuit, Graph Cycle, Path, Random Walk or high brain function”
