A supernova is defined at wikipedia as a stellar explosion. Jenn’s Oatmeal Supernova is exactly that, an explosion of breakfast goodness. Breakfast is the most important meal of day especially if you’re trying to control your weight.
I’m one of those strange people that can eat the same thing over and over again and still be happy. For breakfast, I eat blueberry whole grain waffles with peanut butter and honey or regular Quaker Oats oatmeal but no way instant oatmeal holds a candle to Jenn’s recipe. Jenn’s Oatmeal Supernova, here are the ingredients, please head over to her site for the cooking instructions.
1 packet Quaker Simple Harvest oatmeal (prepared with water)
1/2 cup skim milk
1 tsp brown sugar
1 tsp pumpkin seeds
2 tsp sunflower seeds
1 tbsp almond butter
1 tbsp dried fruit mix
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
