Serena’s story seems all to familiar in todays world, she struggled with weight issues most of her life. Soon after getting married she realized that the extra weight was changing her life and not for the better. Serena developed a sensible strategy to tackle losing the life long weight. Rather than tackling everything at once, Serena vowed to take baby steps and those first few steps were made, walking the weight off.
When I started, I simply walked briskly on the treadmill for 45 minutes four days a week. Gradually I increased my speed and incorporated the elliptical into my routine for variety. In three months, I dropped 30 pounds. Once my size 22 pants got baggy, I knew my plan was working and I felt ready to improve my eating habits.
