Kelly Murray – golfer, fitness nut and his MBT shoes.

kelly murrayI love him, Kelly Murray, because he is, who he is and most people can only aspire to that kind of centered life. The one thing that stands out about Kelly, is his commitment to fitness and a healthy life. He’s constantly doing some kind of exercise program, like biking, running, yoga and walking on the golf course. Kelly also holds the a world record, on September 25, 1990, he set a Guinness World Record by hitting a golf ball 684.8 yards on the 30-yard wide airstrip at Fairmont Hot Springs, British Columbia, besting the previous record by 50.7 yards. 

The other day, before my Saturday walk, my son had his little league baseball parade. At the end of the parade they have a couple of speeches, I was standing in the back and looked to the left and there stood a golf buddy, who I hadn’t seen in a while – Kelly Murray. Most people wouldn’t know him if you didn’t golf or watch the The Golf Channel’s wildly popular reality show – The Big Break. Kelly was on the show and has the kind of personality you never forget – you just can’t wait to see what he’ll do next when in front of an audience. 

I met Kelly on my local golf course, one day, because he saw me walking the golf course and we were the only people doing the crazy thing, walking a golf course. We struck up a conversation and have played many walking golf rounds together.

MBT - "MAKE BUTT TIGHT"Now, I know you Zumewalker’s are wondering, what does this have to do with me, well Kelly was wearing a pair of MBT’s at the parade and serves as a professional spokesperson for them. He had first been a little skeptical about these goofy looking shoes but once he put them on, he was hooked. We spent a good half-hour talking about fitness, walking and the benefits of wearing MBT shoes. 

You all know, I’m a big fan of MBT shoes and have wore out four pair walking almost 2000 miles in a year and a half. If you haven’t seen or tried these shoes, I recommend it highly and suggest you trying a pair on, they will change your walking workout. I created my own name for the MBT’s, I call them the MAKE BUTT TIGHT shoes. If you walk and wear these shoes,  you’ll see that derriere tighten up.
