The Washington DC, Susan G Komen 3 Day Walk starts on October 9th and one of our team members needs a helping hand with her fundraising goal. Here's the story:
I thought sending out a message, via ZumeWalk, of need would get everyone in the fight to end breast cancer by walking their feet off and raising money to send Christy a few bucks.
Christy's been training for six months for the event and it would be ashamed if she didn't get to walk the walk and talk the talk - all for her incredible cause - supporting research...
Life is so very, very special because of those that fill our lives with love. Please take care.
Yesterday, my wife got the initial "uncertain" news from her doctor, that she needed to see a specialist to further examine a growth next to a cyst in her breast. Tuesday, we go to a surgeon and see what the next and best course of action.
Cross your fingers, that it turns out to be nothing. Scaring me shitless.

I saw this bumper-sticker this morning and I had to laugh out loud. I love it. What a funny take on the Breast Cancer awareness movement and the tag really sticks with you. The people next to me in traffic must have thought I was insane. Who cares.
As you know, we have a team walking in the Washington DC 3-day Breast Cancer walk. Angie and Christy both have begun the training process and are both doing well. If you stop by at the 3-day website, we're under the team name - ZumeWalk.
One day we'll hear the cry - SAVE THE TA-TAS!, save the ta-tas.

The Daily Telegraph reports that exercise reduces the risk of breast cancer death, for women who work out are three times less likely to die of breast cancer, according to a new study. One way to start an exercise program is to start by walking.
