OK, I'm a ERB addict. I love my daily and monthly "Electronic Results Buzz."
I want to know my results each day, month and year. It's just me, how I'm wired, tracking my workouts has always been an important part of my fitness ritual.
Yesterday, I had a "moment" with my Nike+ and iPod Nano which hadn't worked properly for two weeks and I was tired of fooling with it. Everything seems to be working properly now and I hope it stays that way because I'm an ERB addict. Please forgive me for my weakness. LOL.
Sorry to Nike, please accept my apologies for ranting but you deserved a little anger...
Nothing pains me more than writing a bad review about Nike which usually exhibits extremely high product quality and customer service.
I've been fooling around with my Nike+ system for two and a half weeks now. I've probably walked 15-20 miles and got credit for 4 or 5 miles.
Here's the story:
15 months ago bought original Nike+ Sport Kit to go with my iPod Nano.
Worked great for 1600 miles except for the constant need to buy new sensors at $20 a pop.
Might be nice if they sold them in bulk. A bag of 5 for $15 per sensor.
Had a pair a Nike+ running shoes which have a special...

Here's a list of things that might help you:
Start.
Just start.

Once you use the word cool to describe something, it's no longer cool. I googled "coolest exercise programs" and a few things stood out to me.
First, a list of the coolest exercise equipment. Here's what Forbes.com had to say: "Looking to make your workouts more interesting? Maybe what you need is exercise equipment that makes it more fun, if not more rewarding."
Then LL Cool J's workout program. Judge for yourself. Buzzle.com's review LL's workout.
How could I talk about cool and not mention the gadgets? What's your favorite workout gadget?
My favorite is Nike+ Sportswatch and iPod,...
I've included my Nike+ avatar on my home page to keep you posted on my walks. I know it says runs but I use the Nike+ site for tracking all of my walks. It works great! And the people at Nike have been very supportive of using the system for walking.
And this leads to one of the most important motivation tools. Tracking and goal setting. At first, I used a simple calendar and marked 'X' for days walked and 'O' for missed days. This method worked great for the first ten years but lacked the elegance and features of a technological solution like
Nike+
When I restarted my walking...
