Who doesn't love a good salad. Well, there is my six year old, who thinks salads are poisonous and should be avoided at all cost. Me, I love a good salad, so I present you, "Salads that Satisfy," these salads are not just a bunch of lettuce, they are 'tasty culinary go-green art' from Self magazine penned by Jennifer Iserioh and masterful recipes created by Burcu Avascar.

Did I say, whike? I meant walk, no hike. Oh well, nothing cures, like a good long 'whike.'
'Whike' - walk and hike, half brothers but very different and the difference between the two is location, location, location. I'm please to introduce the Whike Brothers.
Hiking is the outdoor, jean wearing, granola eating, nature filled, ruggedly handsome brother.
While walking is the slick, suit wearing, latte sipping, let's do lunch, sub-urban, skyscraper surrounded other brother.
See, told you, it's all location. Hence, 'whiking' is actually the same thing just in different locations. Both...
I don't think there is anything I can say which will add anything to this wonderful story from "Weight Loss Success Stories." Thanks to Isadora for relaying these stories to the rest of the walking and exercise world.

I know a woman, a friend of a friend, who has a gorgeous figure. She's slim and has a very healthy glow about her. She's no young pup in her twenties. She was born the same year as me.
And the secret to her fit body and vibrant looks is a regular walking regiment. She started this a few years ago, when her two kids were still in elementary...
Her life is gone in the blink of an eye and what's left behind is a hole in the heart of loved ones. It is called talk and die syndrome, Natasha Richardson died yesterday from a tragic ski accident and she leaves behind a loving family.

My cousin has Lupus so I personally know of the struggles that she lives with in her life. Let's raise research dollars by participating or supporting the DCLupusWalk. If you love walking and giving, then make a plan and join us for a nice walk on April 18th at 8:30AM. The weather is always so beautiful in Washington, DC at that time of year, so grab a few friends and head on down to the Pennsylvania Ave., N.W. starting point and walk for DCLupusWalk.org. Thanks for the help and caring.

This is a true story.
On Saturday, about half way through my walk, I began to notice a crumb trail. At first, I paid very little attention and yet another mile passed by. Out of nowhere the trail of crumbs re-appeared, magically leaving me a sporadic and broken trail to follow. It was a mysterious trail of crumbs, familiar and inviting, but still unknown. I slipped back into the thoughts of my workout and I tried to concentrate on my music and pace.
Yet again, out of the corner of my eye, that crumbly trail appeared, piece by piece. First, by my left foot, then my right. Now this...
