I've been thinking about theses shoes, Nike Free, for a while and I've been looking for a pair of shoes to wear when walking long distances.
What I plan to do is alternate been my MBT's for regular walks and Nike Free's for my long walks. I'll be interested to see how they feel and help me complete my long walks. Here's the story behind the Nike Free 5.0.

Why is buying good walking shoe such a pain. I wear MBT's but I would like to have a regular pair of walking shoes for when I go for extra long walks.

My shoe of choose is the MBT - "the anti-shoe".
MBT stands for Masai Barefoot Technology; it should stand for "Make Butt Tight".
